CNC SETTER/OPERATOR

Salary: £32,000 – £38,000

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme

Hours: Full time

Location: Buckinghamshire

I am looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to work for a leading Manufacturing Aerospace Company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career for a stable, well established manufacturing business.

Duties Include:

Setting and operating all CNC milling machines (3 & 4 axis)

Understand and interpret engineering drawings and BOMS

Ensure day to day schedule requirements are met

Support the operators, ensuring right first-time approach

Inspect all work produced to ensure compliance and quality standards are met

Keep scrap levels to a bare minimum

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CNC setter on vertical mills is essential

Experience with Fanuc is essential

Desire and ability to learn CNC Programming

Knowledge of technical drawings and tolerances is essential

Ability to learn new skills and be prepared to support in other areas when required, including the ability learn to set 5 axis routers

Knowledge of G codes would be beneficial
