CNC Programmer

Salary: £40,000 – £48,000

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme

Hours: Full time

Location: High Wycombe 

I am looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to work for a leading Manufacturing Aerospace Company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career for a stable, well established manufacturing business.

Duties Include:

Use CAM programming software (Powermill) to produce programs for both 3 & 4 axis milling machines

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical diagrams

Set and operate 3 & 4 axis HAAS machines where required

Liaising with team leaders and shop floor staff to highlight any technical issues or potential risks

Help drive technology and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a machine shop environment is essential

3 & 4 axis HAAS machine experience is preferred

CAM experience (Alphacam/Powermill) is essential

CAD experience is preferred

Good communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Flexible approach to work load and business

Ability to work under pressure

Use of Fanuc controllers would be beneficial

City and guilds in mechanical engineering or equivalent would be beneficial
