Hinson Custom Made have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bench Joiner to join the team.

Location: Hanslope, Bucks

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Bench Joiner – About Us:

Since 1984, HINSON have been creating timber products that stand the test of time using traditional joinery made with modern methods. We are a family run company and only use timber from sustainable forests. From our location on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, we manufacture bespoke windows, doors and conservatories to suit traditional, listed and new buildings.

Bench Joiner – The Role:

This Bench Joiner role is Initially based within the workshop, but you will also be required to visit customers onsite for installations. You will need to demonstrate a high standard of work and care in fitting and installing our quality products in customers’ homes nationwide, to meet building

regulations.

Bench Joiner – Key Responsibilities:

– Duties include all aspects of wood machining and assembly

– Suitable Bench Joiner candidates must be able to complete projects from start to finish to set deadlines

– This is a fast paced and rapidly growing company

– Ability to hit the ground running and think on your own initiative is a must

– Preferably you will have knowledge of spraying/finishing items.

– Have experience working on fully painted and glazed finished items

Bench Joiner – You:

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ (after qualification acquired) experience and be confident in the daily operation of joinery machinery and tools, production of bespoke joinery from drawings to final product and reporting progress to the production manager. You’ll also own your own hand tools and have a driving license.
