Account Manager, Direct Mail, Mailing & Fulfilment – Bucks
Full service mailing house, delivering data, print, personalisation, fulfilment polybagging and postage services, seeks a dynamic Account Manager to manage and co-ordinate multiple Client accounts.
With a reputation built almost exclusively through word of mouth and recommendations from contacts and customers, they are highly market competitive and have focussed their assets towards quality and service, responding to customer requirements with an unrivalled speed and levels of continuous communication that have created long and healthy customer relationships.
It is essential that you have the acquired experience to manage Direct Mail campaigns from order, into production, delivery & invoicing, providing an exceptional level of customer service that will maintain and grow the relationships with Customers and suppliers alike.
Working directly with the MD & site Operations Manager in delivering a strategy of enhanced Client communication, you must have the intelligence and personality to integrate highly effectively across the Business, be highly self motivated and professional and with the proven Direct Mail / Mailing industry experience to capitalise on both their existing Client workload and in engaging/driving the new Business opportunities being introduced.
Enthusiastic, commercially aware, a great communicator and consistently hard working are the key traits we seek for the role, along with the prerequisite of a demonstrably diverse knowledge and practical production experience of the Direct Mail & Mailing industry.
Job Description;
* Manage and co-ordinate multiple Client accounts.
* Handle Direct Mail campaigns from order to production to invoice.
* Securely receive customer data, process and mailsort.
* Main point of Client contact, frequently communicating to provide a high level of customer service that will maintain and grow the relationships with Customer and Suppliers.
* Booking and liaising with postal providers for mail collections and consumable orders.
* Develop new business with existing clients and / or identify areas of potential improvements.
* Maintain an updated knowledge of the Company products and services.
* Weekly invoicing and filing.
* Assisting the General Manager with any tasks outside the role that may be required.
Essential Attributes;
* Experience in account management and all key Direct Mail / Mailing production methods is essential.
* Hands on and show willingness to learn all aspects within the business.
* Able to work under pressure to high standards.
* Provide commercial and technical expertise for Clients.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good telephone manner and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Ability to cope with customer demands and prioritise tasks.
* Flexibility.
* Confidence to work on your own as well as part of a team.
* Experience with IT systems and the Microsoft suite.
Offering a friendly, relaxed work environment and great exponents of a genuine team spirit, the role is varied and often quite hands on, but there is a clear focus on developing this Account Manager role into becoming a key member of the senior management team, as the MD seeks to step back from day to day Business involvement in the short/medium term.
