Quest is recruiting for a Team Leader to work in a Bakery based in Blakelands, Milton Keynes. You will be working for one of the biggest bread manufacturers in the country.

This is a permanent position. The annual salary is £24,000.

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for managing a team. You will be required to adhere to all health and safety within all areas of the bakery. As well as making sure all production deadlines and targets are met. You will also be required to ensure that products are produced on time and at the highest quality standards. You will also oversee all aspects of production activity within the bakery.

Responsibility:

Ensure self and work areas conform to all health and safety standards.

Ensuring all products are adhered to always ensure a high-quality product.

Ensure all products comply with the quality and requirements with food safety legislation.

Maintain company hygiene standards throughout all areas.

Provide regular updates and escalations to the shift supervisor

Ensure all of the team complies with all food safety policies

Ensure appropriate training is carried out to all staff

Ensure all utensils are stored in the appropriate areas

Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and ensure all information is reported accurately.

Supervising shifts in the absence of the shift supervisor

Skills:

Have a knowledge / good understanding of operating in a manufacturing environment

Have a strong understanding of health and safety standards

Ability to train others and lead them

Ability to multi-task

Excellent attention to detail

Prioritise and manage work load

Have good communication skills
