Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Manager – Strategy & Planning to join their team. This role is an immediate start for 13 months, working 37hrs a week, this is working from home and equipment will be supplied. The hourly rate is £21.918ph – £23.93ph – equating to £42,149 -£46,042pa dependent on experience.

The role will lead on the formulation and articulation of the unit strategy and planning by senior stakeholders, creating and driving the annual planning timetable and activity, facilitating the engagement of colleagues in the development and maintenance of plans and strategies.

This is a key role in managing the unit business reporting process working with the unit functional areas, to include enabling effective and regular review of progress against plans, surfacing and escalating risks and issues.

Essential Skills;

Working knowledge and experience of strategy development.
An analytical mind, able to think laterally to solve problems make sound, evidence-based decisions, and work confidently on own initiative.
