The key focus will be on new business prospecting and working on high value opportunities to consistently deliver and exceed sales targets and KPI’s. The candidate will take responsibility for developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with key high value customers and strategic partners
Key experience we are looking for will be business development and relationship management and the ability to lead sales teams. Bi-lingual capabilities would also be desirable, as the right candidate would work closely with companies and clients from the African continent, Morocco in particular.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
* Identifying new opportunities that will drive leads and income into our business areas
* Proactively manage key relationships through joint business and marketing plans to ensure annual budgetary requirements are met
* Actively explore new routes to market and forge new client relations
* Negotiate at senior level on commercial issues, ensuring clients and suppliers understand and agree what will meet their needs.
* Assist in enhancing brand identity by initiating strategic partnerships
* Optimise new & existing relationships to drive sales through self-initiative
* Record accurate details of the sales pipeline, notes, tasks and follow-ups
* Demonstrate the effective use of planning, tools and resources available to achieve performance targets
* Help deliver and continually update the current CRM systems.
* Developing and implementing a sales strategy to show progress and prove concept
* Prepare contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
* In time, to mentor less experienced staff to help with their development and improve the overall business development team’s targets.
Person Specification
Essential
* 5 years+ experience of working in a proactive high value sales role, or B2B sales role consisting of pipeline management
* Significant experience of managing commercial relationships with senior partners including reporting, analysis and contract negotiations at the CxO/CxO – 1 Levels.
* Comfortable in a client facing sales role and can leverage a number of different prospecting techniques to convert leads.
* Proven track record of achieving and overachieving on sales targets
* Strong understanding of a structured sales approach
* University degree – Bachelor's degree a minimum
Desirable
* Ability to speak fluent French or Arabic is highly desired; or both would be especially advantageous
