Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role offers you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be in Milton Keynes.

Our leakage monitoring system is one of the largest in the UK. We have highly trained leakage detection technicians using the latest technology and we need you to motivate, coach and empower continuous improvement with the technicians in the South of the Anglian Water region.
Your small team, mostly made up of Field Technicians, are responding to alarms and data, and traveling around the Milton Keynes and Northampton area to resolve unexpected leaks on the water network and proactively carry out planned maintenance before they affect our customers. We will give you the tools to learn the operational side of the role as you build and nurture trust, creating an inspired, high performing team.
You’ll performance manage the team, that also includes office based analysts, and provide operational support to proactively manage and resolve any events or incidents, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure risk is managed, whilst focusing on delivering an excellent customer service.
We have ambitious targets to reduce leakage. It is the right thing to do for our customers and for the environment and it makes our service more resilient to drought. You’ll need to use your managerial skills to successfully deliver these targets.
Working closely with the Water Network Team, our Partners and the wider business, you’ll ensure that all activities are undertaken with a customer focus and efficiently delivered.

What does it take to be a Leakage Delivery Support Manager?

Proven experience of leading and managing effective performance of a team
*
A background in Leakage/Water is not essential, we are focusing more on your leadership ability
*
A strong focus on customer service
*
Ability to assess risks / make significant decisions with incomplete information / dynamic situations
*
Excellent collaborative skills with a proven track record of delivery in a collaborative environment
*
Ability to influence a range of stakeholders including external groups
*
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate strategy

Ability to think commercially and strategically

Full UK Driving Licence

This role requires you to have a flexible approach to working hours; there may be times when you are required to respond to incidents outside of your usual working hours

If successful in your application, you will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full driving licence is essential. If you are offered the role, the status of your driving licence will be checked.
