Purpose of job:
To devise and deliver the reward strategy including all basic and variable pay and benefits.To lead on the wellbeing strategy for the Company
Job Profile:
* Devise and own the remuneration strategy which will be aligned to the business plan objectives and corporate values.
* Manage external market comparisons including selection of appropriate compensation surveys for all roles, designing and commissioning bespoke surveys where required.
* Ensure the company maintains accreditation as required by regulation, legislation and business strategy including compliance with FCA/PRA direction, Equal Pay requirements and Living Wage.
* Ensure reward processes support the diversity and inclusion agenda, including conducting annual Equal Pay audits and preparation of mandatory reporting data, making recommendations to mitigate risk to the business.
* Manage and oversee the pay negotiation process, recommending increases based on budget, internal and external indicators and engaging key stakeholders including Chief Executive, ED’s and Chairman of the SA.
* Support Head of HR with Remuneration Committee meetings by advising on agenda items, writing reports and providing accurate information, deputising where required.
* Conduct Job Evaluations for new and existing roles, establishing grade & pay that support the attraction and retention of talent as well as consistency across the company.
* Act as an internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a reward impact.
* Develop and maintain a successful working relationship with the Staff Association, ensuring formal consultation and negotiation processes are followed correctly.
* Share best practice and business intelligence with the wider HR team.
Experience Required
* Prior experience in a senior reward role, in a regulated environment, ideally Finance.
* Experience within an FS environment (Cat2/3 perscribed measures)
* Strong technical knowledge of employment law and HR practices
* Driven by the need to create and maintain a successful business
* Ability to drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills
* High level of tenacity/resilience
* Strong influencing skills and able to challenge with confidence at all levels
* Presents confidently and generates confidence in others based on the application of their professional expertise
* CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
* Advanced MS Office knowledge required
* Highly numerate with attention to detail
* Knowledge of and experience in writing REMCO papers
* Familiarity of Digital platforms for Engagement with the busienss
* EVP experience to deliver to stakeholders effectively
