General Manager

Luton, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Banbury, Northampton, Watford

Salary 65,000 – 80,000 plus bonus, pension and car or car allowance

My client is a standalone heavy side specialist manufacturing facility owned by a brand name recognised nationally.

Due to an internal promotion, we are recruit for a General Manager to manage the facility.

The role

The successful general manager will be responsible for a production manufacturing business that turns over £20 million

You will be surrounded by operational and commercial experts in their field, so product or industry knowledge is not necessary.

Key elements of the role will include

Setting the business strategy

Responsible for Capex and major products

Building relationships across all key accounts and routes to market

Overall responsibility for employees, P&L, Health and Safety, Logistics, Manufacturing

For this role you will come from a senior management role, you will be a strategic thinker and a people leader, you will have knowledge and experience from a manufacturing environment and will be able to demonstrate a commercial mindset
