Full P & L responsibility for a General Manager managing this very well established UK & Ireland sales & service office. We are a market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry with T/O of circa £15 million and a team of 30+ staff. 
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £90,000
 
BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Office based and ideally living within 1 hour of Slough (or prepared to relocate with responsibility for managing the UK & Ireland sales & service office)
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Slough, Bristol, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Reading

You will have full P & L responsibility for managing the UK sales & service office with T/O of circa £15million and a team of mostly very experienced 30+ staff with a brief to grow the business to achieve mutually agreed targets.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: General Manager / Managing Director – manufacturer : packaging machinery / capital equipment, PPMA
 
· You MUST have a proven track record of success as a General Manager or Managing Director ideally running a similar size business.
· You MUST have specific experience of working for a PPMA company supplying packaging &/or process machinery into the food industry.
· You WILL be a qualified mechanical or electrical/electronic engineer.
· Any experience in addition to the above and of managing a UK sales & service office or distributor for a European manufacturer would be advantageous.
