Duty Managers/Race Directors & Trainee Managers

LOCATION: Dansteed Way, Milton Keynes

HOURS: Full-Time FLEXIBLE (including evenings and weekends)

BRIEF

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in running our flagship venue. An outdoor Go Kart track based in Milton Keynes reknown for its excellence within the motorsport industry. The positions would suit individuals who are looking for a diverse and challenging role with responsibility of running and managing the circuit and the venue as part of their management training.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist in the day-to-day running of a 7-day operational business.

* Be directly responsible for the operations of the venue in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

* Ensure the venue is operational in a timely manner whilst warranting first class customer care and safety.

* To be responsible for monitoring and managing Race Events including the circuit, and precisely relaying information to all staff, managing the race in a safe manner at all times.

* To be fully conversant with, and abide by the rules, regulations & procedures as well as ensuring that all teams are in adherence.

* To ensure the whole site is maintained to the correct Company presentation levels and ensure the daily setup and close down procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently.

* To ensure that all rules and regulations relating to Race Events is completed accurately and efficiently.

* To coordinate with all other managers, department heads and operational teams.

* To ensure adequate staffing levels are in place.

* Fully flexible individuals who are able to work evenings and weekends.

* You will need strong organisational, motivational and management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* You must be able to manage, engage, train, delegate and supervise teams effectively.

* You will have a welcoming, confident and charismatic manner as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* You will essentially have an adhering approach to rules & regulations as well as the ability to apply common sense.

Experience within the Motor sport and/or leisure industry would be advantageous; however, full product and service training will be provided.
