Assistant Purchasing Manager
Salary Neg depending on experience
37.5 hours per week between 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
Temp to perm opportunity for the right person
Experience required for the position:
Team management/leadership skills
Purchasing goods and service
Understanding of logistics – ideally overseas desirable
Knowledge of ERP/MRP,
Microsoft Office
Experience of purchasing processes is essential and import is desirable
Experience of inventory management
The perfect candidate will have the above skills and experience and will be Positive and Flexible with Excellent verbal and written skills.
Day to day duties will include but not limited to:
1)To fully support/assist the Purchasing Manager in managing the team(queries/questions etc)
2)To analyse and track backorders to make sure they are dealt with and resolved quickly
3)To manage the team email inbox
4)To send new parts orders
5)Collate monthly report for PM and TM
6)To analyse and follow up to make sure we capture all items we need to purchase and to ensure we don’t over order.
7)Analyse order requests from workshop
