Interim Payroll Transformation Consultant | £400 – £550 day rate | 3 months | Entertainment | Buckinghamshire & WFH

Reporting into the Head of People, you will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, ready to roll up your sleeves and support in the running of the full payroll cycle, never afraid to suggest new ways of doing things to make the process super efficient.

As the Interim Payroll Transformation Consultant, you will support the current Payroll Manager with the accurate input of data for monthly paid salaried employees, and offer a higher level of payroll legislative and process experience.

Duties

Support in the processing of the end-to-end payroll for the UK, including managing payroll changes and changing tax codes

Work with the People Team to verify payroll data for compliance and accuracy

Act as first point of contact for all payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies

Chase outstanding approvals in the payroll system prior to payroll close

Maintaining corporate procedures and statutory obligations

Improve processes and drive requirements for additional improvements

Experience

CIPP, or comparable, qualification or have the equivalent level of payroll experience

Knowledge of current statutory legislation and payroll best practice, its practical application and of business processes

Delivering results through engagement with customers and other stakeholders

Ability to practicably apply specialist knowledge to meet diverse customer needs

Ability to effect change in a fluid environment
