Finance Manager

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading, fast- paced SME business based in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Finance Director this role will manage a small transactional team of four.

Key Responsibilities
– Producing the monthly management accounts.
– Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
– Managing a finance team of 4 staff members.
– Oversee the raising of stock invoices to the main retail customer.
– Within agreed limits, be an authoriser and processor of sundry emergency on-line payments through the bank account.
– Sundry analysis work including use of Excel spreadsheets.
– Carry out any other ad hoc duties/tasks and projects as agreed with the Finance Director when identified.
– Producing cash projection figures on a weekly basis.

As the Finance Manager will have experience in a similar role, have a good understanding of finance systems, preferably exchequer, and good excel skills. Be flexible within the finance team in respect of working together, often to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will need to inspire and motivate the team to the next level of business & financial performance. You will need to have a minimum 3 year's experience working with accounting systems. Able to manage and work well as part of a team. Qualified or part qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
