Role: Event Sales Executive

Salary: Up to £20k, plus commission

The Event Sales Executive Role:

As an Events Sales Executive the prime function of your role is to sell space for hire across our client’s estate (100 locations) both reactively and proactively and to retain and develop our existing database of clients.

Your main function will be to respond to incoming enquiries and the dry hire of auditoriums for presentations and events for both corporate and private clients. You will be responsible for taking the enquiry from initial quote through to briefing the team for event execution.

Event Sales Executive General Responsibilities and Duties:

* Respond to the incoming event enquiries in a professional manner.

* To fully understand the pricing structure and maximise opportunity during peak and off-peak periods

* Maximise each event sale by ensuring optional extras are taken up by clients where possible

* Ensuring all clients understand all products and services on offer to them from the Events team.

* Brief, liaise with and manage all suppliers in line with delivery requirements

* To keep the CRM system (our internal database) up to date with all enquiries, leads and confirmed events.

* To support the wider event sales and event operational teams where required

* To proactively seek new business including following up on marketing materials sent to prospective customers

* To liaise with operation teams to help to improve the event experience for our clients.

The Ideal Event Sales Executive:

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.

* Ideally to have used Microsoft dynamics previously but not essential.

* Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers.

* Able to work under pressure and multitask particularly during the peak seasons.

* To be driven by sales results and meet the targets set by the management team.

* To be a team player and support others in the same role to exceed.

* A willing and ambitious attitude.
