Duty Manager – Milton Keynes – £19-21k

I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in Milton Keynes for a leading leisure operator in the Health & Fitness sector. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management business. I am looking for a Duty Manager. This is a leisure job not to be missed, especially for those of you who are budding future Operations Managers.

As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for the running of the facility and this includes opening and closing the site, you will be directly responsible for the front-line team.

The site in Milton Keynes has a great reputation in the local area and has some amazing facilities including a gym, multiple studios, swimming pools as well as outdoor courts and a sports hall.

You will have a proven background in operations in a large-scale Leisure Centre and have a natural ability to lead and inspire a large staff team. Experience of a busy wet facility is essential.

You will be driven by delivering an amazing experience to the members in an environment where no 2 days are the same. You need to have a hands-on, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills. Not only will you be taking ownership of the operations of the facility you will also be responsible for leading and developing your own team. The ideal candidate will already possess an NPLQ qualification and have experience of managing sites with a pool.
