Legal 500 firm in Buckinghamshire seeks an experienced Private Client Solicitor on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the head of department, the successful solicitor will join the firm’s private client team located in Chesham and manage their own caseload of complex matters. Utilising your skills and expertise you will deliver high quality advice alongside the supervision of junior staff members. Additionally, the successful solicitor will build and grow the department to generate referrals and future work.

Responsibilities

Attending clients to take instructions
Will drafting
Court of Protection matters
Probate matters
Handling LPAs
Supervising junior staff members
Conducting legal research
Producing articles for the firm’s website  
Participating in marketing and business development initiativesThe Candidate

A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE
Technically proficient in private client matters
Explains complex matters in clear, accessible language
Demonstrates previous supervisory experience
Able to manage own caseload without secretarial support
Ensures a client-focused approach
Has a good working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules
A team player with an aptitude for business development and marketingThe Firm
