Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Senior Paralegal/Junior In-house counsel to provide support to the Head of Legal and to other areas of the business on an ad hoc basis. You will be working in a fast paced environment without compromising quality of legal work and ensure the business complies with any legal requirements and Group Policies.

You will assist Head of Legal with the following:

* Client and Supplier Contract review, drafting and negotiating.

* Support Head of Legal with data protection compliance

* Draft and review policies

* Responsibility for drafting, negotiating and keeping up to date standard terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements and other ancillary agreements etc.

* Conduct legal research in relation to legal developments and / or changes pertinent to the Business

* In conjunction with Head of Legal, to ensure that the corporate guidelines are followed to ensure that business contracted is “Good Business” consistent with company strategy and financial requirements

* To provide any other ad hoc support to the business stakeholders on a case by case basis as directed by Head of Legal

Requirements:

* Relevant in-house or private practice experience in corporate/commercial law;

* LPC or law degree beneficial but not required with the relevant experience;

* Excellent written (legal drafting) and verbal communication skills;

* Experience with managing data protection and GDPR matters, not required but beneficial;

* Experience drafting policies and processes, not required but beneficial;

* Ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders where required;

* Solid MS Office knowledge;

* Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and a good team player; and

* High ethical standards and excellent time management skills.
