Do you have experience as a Legal Secretary?

Yes? You could be just the person we're looking for!

Our client based in Milton Keynes requires some support to their team from an experienced, professional Legal Secretary. Ideally with a background in family law, but this is not essential.

Key responsibilities or the Legal Secretary will include but are not limited to:

Full secretarial support
Correspondence including email, audit/digital & copy typing
Communication with clients and other professionals to secure the desired objective
Professionally dealing with general enquiries from clients, solicitors and other third parties
Diary management and meeting organisation
General administration of documents, letters, timesheets
Perform other duties to ensuring the smooth running of the practice

Our Legal Secretary needs to have:

Proven experience within a similar secretarial role
Audio typing
Fast, accurate typing skills
Ability to turn around documents at speed
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Ability to use own initiative and remain calm under pressure
Confident and professional telephone manner
Pro-active and "can do" attitude
