Corporate Associate

£50,000 – £65,000 per annum + Excellent Company Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Corporate Associate on behalf of a large, award winning, global Law firm with offices in Milton Keynes. Their Lawyers work on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions including strategic planning, due diligence right through to post-closing integration. The role will be based within the Corporate transactional team, working with a wide variety of sectors including, Real Estate, Transport and Infrastructure, Financial Services and Automotive among others. This role would ideally suit an NQ to 5-year PQE Lawyer.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Taking the lead on a variety of transactions across a range of sectors.

· Building and maintaining client relationships, new and existing.

· Contribute to business development and raising the profile of the firm.

· Coaching and mentoring team members.

Skills and experience required:

· A Degree or equivalent.

· In depth knowledge of corporate transactions.

· Strong financial and business awareness.

· Experience of working with corporate clients both in the UK and internationally.

· Experience of preparing and participating in client pitches.

· Ability to work with a degree of independence using initiative as well as part of a team.

· Exceptional drafting skills and legal research ability.

· Demonstrates sound judgement and resilience skills.

· Market focus, with excellent business development ability.
