Compliance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join the award winning Legal and Compliance Team as a Compliance Manager, you will be based at our modern Milton Keynes office with an ability to work remotely for part of the week. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance you will be resilient, autonomous and continuously strive to improve the compliance processes and procedures of the business.

Responsibilities
Work with the existing members of the Legal and Compliance Team to implement and manage the compliance function for all relevant areas of the business, including our Financial Services arm.
The successful candidate will manage a small team and work in accordance with corporate requirements and applicable laws and regulations. In particular:
* ensuring the business operates in compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws and regulations;
* identifying and advising on compliance risks;
* monitoring and reporting on compliance matters to local management and Group Compliance;
* implementing and maintaining effective compliance processes and procedures;
* overseeing existing compliance topics (e.g. Antitrust, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Checks Against Sanctions, Integrity & Compliance);
* communicating and training on compliance requirements;
* raising awareness of compliance topics and obtaining support and collaboration from internal stakeholders;
* implementing and maintaining clear standards of business and ethical conduct.
Candidate Requirements
* completed an advanced degree in business/law or similar.
* appropriate knowledge and experience in Legal, Business, Auditing or similar with an understanding of international and local laws.
* strong project management and communication and training skills;
* experience in corporate or regulatory compliance is an advantage
* excellent interpersonal skills
* proven experience of managing corporate business practices and processes.
* practical and business minded approach .
* experience working in an office environment (preferably in a legal/compliance context)
* good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
