Our client is looking for a very organised, pro-active and confident Company Secretarial Assistant to assist their busy team. The hours are 9.00 am – 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. They work on a hybrid basis in terms of location, but members of the team are expected to be in the office for at least one day per week.
Role:
* company secretarial tasks including regularly making up statutory registers for client companies and filing documents at Companies House
* using the team’s Blueprint/Diligent database system to record company director changes, registered office changes and allotment and transfers of shares
* incorporating companies limited by shares, guarantee and LLP’s
* PSC changes and investigations
* filing confirmation statements and dormant accounts
you will also assist with:
* billing clients for company secretarial work carried out by the individual
* opening and closing client/matter files
Requirements:
* detail oriented and focussed on providing the best work product for the group’s clients
* enjoy working in a team and as part of the wider corporate division and the firm at large
* able to complete tasks on time as required by statutory requirements and/or client demands
* adaptable to the fast-moving demands of the group’s clients
* able to work in the Milton Keynes office as required, although remote hybrid working could be available for the right candidate
At least 2 years’ legal or company secretarial experience is essential, ideally someone who has worked in professional practice (such as a law, accountancy or another professional services firm).
