Delighted to be working with a world-renowned, financial regulatory body based in Buckinghamshire, to find a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team. You’ll be joining a well-established legal team which plays a key role in the success of the organisation’s important day to day activities. Based in modern offices in the Milton Keynes area, the successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be surrounded by a vibrant team of solicitors who share invaluable experience and knowledge of the in-house legal landscape. This is a truly exciting opportunity for the successful candidate.
Duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer:
Reviewing, drafting and advising on a range of supply and service contracts including, software agreements, supplier terms, collaboration and data sharing agreements and standard terms
Act as a trusted legal resource to colleagues by demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial contract, IP and Data Protection law as well as having a good commercial mind-set and pragmatic approach
Work with colleagues within the Central Operations department to ensure contracts go through a coordinated and timely internal review process with the required stakeholders.
Assist with ad hoc contract queries, working as a business enabler to find pragmatic solutions and manage legal riskRole specific skills:
2+ years of contract drafting and review experience
Practical and relevant commercial contract drafting experience
