Youre a UX Designer, you do what UX Designers do.
You spend your time thinking about how users interact with software and what they want from it, so that they dont have to, and youre more than just good at it – its what gets you out of bed in the morning.
Here you will join the cloud development team and work with the business to ensure their new solutions are the best that they can be. You will initially join after a period of time without a UX Designer, so you will be hands on for a time getting designs to the developers to use. However, in the next 6-12 months the role will grow and will allow you to expand the team that you can then lead in their day to day roles.
You would join the business as they embark on a complete redesign of their cloud product, meaning you will be integral to its success. You will interact with all arms of the business to understand the different personas that use the software and how you can better enhance their experience. You will create wireframes, mockups and prototypes, and then youll do it all over again, because youre fully committed to providing the greatest solution on the market and you know that relies heavily on user experience.
As a well-versed UX Designer you will have experience in relevant UX design aides such as Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe XD or similar. In a perfect world you will have experience in a SAAS business too. You will be comfortable taking feedback and conducting research in line with user-centred design. And youll be mad about UX – but thats a given.
Locations: Milton Keynes – 4 days remote
Salary: GBP35,000 – GBP50,000 + bonus + 25 days holiday
