Technical Support Engineer / Technical Services Engineer – Data Centre, Hardware, Server, Storage, Networking devices – including IBM, HP, Dell EMC, Brocade, Cisco equipment – Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, commutable from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire – £50,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance £6,500 + Bonus + Bens

My client is seeking to recruit a number of Technical Support Engineers to be the SME's for data centre equipment incorporating Servers, Storage, and Network devices.

You will also provide:

Specialist 3rd line support to the Field Engineer workforce.
Customer support, and advice around solution improvement.
Training to both internal colleagues and external customers.Enterprise Server, Storage and Network equipment supported includes from vendors such as IBM, HP, Dell, EMC, Cisco and Brocade.

Key Skills:

Highly experienced in the hardware repair of Enterprise Server, Storage and Network devices such as:
Servers:
IBM iSeries / AS400, pSeries / RS6000, xSeries / Netfinity / Bladecentre, zSeries.
Storage:
IBM – DS3000 / DS4000 / DS5000 / Storewise
Network devices:
Cisco Routers and Switches
Brocade Switches
You will have experience of supporting Field Engineers on high level repairs both onsite and over the phone
Experience of training both colleagues and customers.
Excellent customer service and client facing skills.

Desirable Experience

Implementation and Management of a Triage Service.

HPE Superdome etc
Storage:
Dell EMC – FC5300 / FC4500 / FC4700
HPE – M-Series / B-Series / C-Series / SimpliVity / Nimble / Primera / StoreOnce / StoreEver / StoreFabric
