Technical Operations Manager with strong customer relationship skills and have worked as a supplier for a large customer in a service management role with a IT background. This is a fully remote position and very much customer focused.
This will suit one who has come from a Technical support/infrastructure background Azure knowledge ideal) and progressed through management where the focus has been on customers and delivering service, managing people, incident management etc. You will be heavily customer focussed with the ability to manage a team of IT support managers.
You will also have a knowledge of Azure and/or other related cloud-based technologies. Being heavily customer focussed it goes without saying that first class communications skills are key. You will be able to deliver first class customer service whilst being able to decompose complex technical situations into a business facing response.
You will – Manage the technical operations of the platform and the associated metrics. Manage the technical escalation from support and resolve the issue Manage tactical fix of the issue Understand how to provide a critical service to a customer Understand cloud-based platforms.
