Our client, who are well established in their field, are recruiting a highly skilled Systems Consultant to join their small and friendly team based in Milton Keynes or Corby. This really is a fantastic opportunity for a experienced Consultant to join a team who are extremely supportive and work closely as a team.

The main objective of this position is a candidate who can provide the link between their customers, the local business and their technical experts. You will have the ability to rollout of technical solutions / systems / process improvements from specficiation to delivery. You will be proactive, out-ward facing, confident in talking to business users and implementing ways to improve. This is NOT a Support Analyst role, and they are looking for a consultant.

The role is based in office any Milton Keynes or Corby with flexibility for home working.Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00-5:30 Mon-Thu; 9:00-4:15 Fri. 45 minutes for lunch. Some flexibility.

Systems Consultant Responsibilities:

Customer Consultancy: Work with our customers and relevant internal teams to understand their requirements, create detailed specifications and project manage the rollout of solutions.
Business consultancy: Advise and support the local business by understanding their requirements and implement global products
Business process improvements: Support the business by understanding local processes (especially where supporting customers) identifying improvements and opportunities to standardize.
Project management: Manage the rollout of HQ initiatives (locally) and project manage locally driven business projects.
Manage and Nurture Relationships: Help to build a strong relationship between the systems team and the rest of the business. Form a close working relationship with international IT teams.

Systems Consultant Key Requirements:

Graduate (or of graduate calibre) with a degree in a relevant discipline ideal but not essential
Minimum 5 years SAP and systems experience, ideally including a full implementation cycle. (ESSENTIAL)
Experience and relevant qualifications
Knowledge and skills in SAP, Project Management, EDI, Systems Integration, Process improvements & optimisation Please only apply if you have the relevant experience above!
