HOMEBASED – This is a role for a good all round SQL DBA with good knowledge of the database engine and strong T-SQL. You will join a nice team working in an Agile environment, the work involves large transactional data for critical systems and the use of APi's.

You will take responsibility for the support, development and optimisation of SQL databases along with data migration and upgrades.

Key criteria for the SQL DBA

* Excellent knowledge of SQL database engine

* Proven DBA experience involving large transactional databases

* Strong T-SQL skills

* Skilled in performance tuning and optimisation

* Experience of data migration

* Any knowledge of data warehouse development would be useful

* Experience of MS SQL Azure and data migration to the cloud would be nice.
