Data Engineer / SQL Consultant

You will work with large enterprise customers to deliver complex Azure Data Services.

Salary: £50-70k (dependent on level of experience) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Remote role (to be based anywhere in the UK, there may be potential travel to client sites on an adhoc basis)

As the successful Senior Data Engineer, you will have the following experience:

A solid background working in Data specific roles: SQL DBA, SQL Developer, Data Engineer, Data Consultant.
Experience and understanding of large-scale application and data solutions offerings.
Experience specifically working with On-prem and Cloud Microsoft Technologies (would suit someone from a SQL DBA / MS Business Intelligence background looking to gain more Azure Data Services Exposure)
Excellent communication skills, to be able to liaise with customers directly and internal team members. Providing solutions, hands on engineering and building into the Architecture space.
Exposure across any of the following: Azure Data platform (e.g. Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Services, & PowerBI).
Understanding/knowledge of scalable architectures
Currently holds (or on a pathway to) achieving any of the following Azure certifications: Azure Solutions Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate.
