Software Release Manager / Senior Release Engineer – Home based with travel to client sites

This is a role for a strong leader with a solid background in delivering software development projects in a scaled Agile framework. Any knowledge of delivering software project to the NHS or care sector will stand you in good stead

Your remit will be to facilitate and manage software release planning activities that enable the development teams to deliver large programs, it goes without question that you will encounter a wide range of challenges and an element of stress with this role; the ability to think clearly and manage when under pressure is key.

A solid grasp of Scrum methodology & Agile working along with the ability organise and prioritise the work load is essential.

Key criteria for Senior Software Release Engineer / Manager:

* Proven track record and significant experience in a software development environment

* Strong leadership skills again from a software development environment

* Thorough understanding and practical experience of Scrum methodology

* Strong planning skills and proven ability to manage activities for a large software development program

* You need to be confident, Pro-active, assertive and a “get things done” on time and in budget person

* The ability to switch off at the end of the day to refresh and recharge is essential

* We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of delivering projects to the NHS
