Software Engineer (SQL)
Milton Keynes
£40,000 – £46,350 + Car Allowance + Holiday + Generous Pension + Healthcare

Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a thriving and well established warehouse logistics giant were you will be provide with full inhouse training and great progression opportunities.

This company provide bespoke logistic systems to the largest fashion brands and retailer warehouses in the UK. They have been established for over 60 years and are continuing to dominate the automated logistics market. They regularly invest into their staff and utilise cutting edge technologies.

In this role you will be based on the client site monitoring and managing the system software and hardware for one of the largest high end department stores in the UK. You will be responsible for software commissioning and integration testing as well as troubleshooting IT and software issues.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with Unix Operating Systems and be confident using SQL with hands on experience programming and debugging with PL/SQL. Ideally the candidate will have experience liaising between stake holders and internal organisations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer to work as part of a team and join a leading international supplier of warehouse automation systems working for a nationally renowned department store, utilise cutting edge technology in an autonomous and varied role.

The Role:
*Programming and Debugging
*Operational analysis, Root-Cause-Analysis
*Resolving system software and hardware technical issues
*Manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels

The Person:
*Solid experience programming PL/SQL
*Proficient using SQL (DML, DDL, TCL)
*Experience with Unix Operating Systems for Deploying releases.
*Oracle Database Experience
*Good Understanding of network technologies and experience troubleshooting
