This highly successful specialist technology and engineering business based in Buckingham is looking to employ an expert Python software developer with good experience in web-based applications such as Django, JS, CSS.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on fast-moving and challenging projects and the role is central to the development of the Group’s commercial product portfolio supporting their clients’ engineering activities.
Key Aspects of the role include
* Development of commercial quality software for client use in Windows or web environments
* Converting customer need/requirement discussions into detailed development specifications
* Front end development & UX/UI design
* Close cooperation with the Simulation and Modelling team to incorporate physical and empirical models into the back end.
* Product testing & debugging
* Release management
The Ideal Candidate
* Degree qualified in Computer Science or similar discipline
* Expert knowledge of Python
* Prior experience in a similar role
* Experience developing web-based applications (Django, JS, CSS)
* Knowledge of databases; e.g. Postgre SQL, MySql or similar
* Software development using agile methodology
This role would suit an independent, hardworking individual with excellent interpersonal skills to include strong written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities.
