SOC Analysts £25K – £35K (experience dependent)

Our client specialise in outsourced security event monitoring and incident response services. These services are distributed to clients of a wide variety that use a Microsoft centric technology stack.

We are looking to fill several SOC analyst positions in an ever expanding team who provides services to both internal and external customers.

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, they have a focus on training and development and that has been fundamental to 20 years of success within their organisation and successful applicants will have the opportunity to achieve and maintain Security operations and engineer certifications

Your key responsibilities will be:

To recieve and organise initial events, incidents and customer requests
provide initial triage of incidents and trigger escalatios and assignments
Investigate even alerts and update the customer to confirm the incident is closedThe successful candidate will have experince in:

Understanding Information Security principles
Good ritten and verbal communication skills
Technical understanding of IT infrastructure – e.g networks, Microsoft 365 suite, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server and Active Directory
Installing security software and applicationsDesired but Not Essential:

Previous SOC experience/ Security Team
Previous Security incident and event management toolset (Azure Sentinel)
