Site Reliability Engineer – Maidenhead

I’m currently working with a leading software company who create software that has an impact on millions in their daily lives. Their platforms which are used by over 1000 companies are at the cutting edge of cloud based SaaS technologies. They are looking for someone who has passion and drive to ensure the team delivers and deploys the best service possible.

The company are very successful and have been hiring across the past months and have added to the team. They are fully committed to remote interviewing and on boarding and the role will be start working from home. Moving forward the company are committed to keeping this flexibility and are able to offer a mix of 2-3 days WFH combined with days in the office.

This is a really good opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a strong team and someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their work.

Your daily role will involve keeping the Saas platform (Paas) effectively. You’ll take ownership of the Google Cloud Platform. You will be tasked with deploying, automating and configuring the cloud based infrastructure. As always you will be involved in delivery and service provision, documenting key systems, and managing internal system updates.

Key skills for this role

2. Proven experience in Google Cloud Platform

3. Strong history in infrastructure / DEVops role

4. Fantastic knowledge of modern CI/CD techniques

5. Automation & Config – Terraform/Ansible

6. Python, Powershell or Yaml scripting

7. Database administration

8. Networking knowledge

As mentioned this role is interviewing remotely and will start fully remote but post covid you will still be able to work from home 2-3 days a week
