Service Desk Support required to work in Milton Keynes.
This falls inside IR35 and is a 12 months contract.
The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for dealing with a variety of service events, including incidents. These events can be received via telephone, My IT, or automatically generated infrastructure events. The main aim of the Service Desk Analyst is to restore normal service' to the user as quickly as possible, which could involve resolving a technical fault, fulfilling a request or answering a query.
Key tasks are the receipt of incidents and requests reported by users. This includes recording call details, channeling requests for help to appropriate IT teams for resolution, and where skills allow resolving calls received by the Service Desk. Other tasks may include the maintenance of equipment/software.
Skills required:
* Proven 1st/2nd Line Service Desk Analyst skills.
* You should have in-depth knowledge of the Windows platform (eg Windows, Exchange 365, Active Directory & O365/Cloud).
* The successful candidate will consistently apply best practice in ITIL service transition and information security.
* The job holder should be energetic with initiative, drive and an enthusiastic can do' approach.
* They should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently at different levels across the organisation.
