Senior SQL Developer
A Senior SQL Developer is required to join the development team of a customer experience software and data solutions provider, operating internationally across various sectors including automotive.
We are looking for an SQL Developer with an in-depth knowledge and experience in this area including SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS along side the ability to lead by example and support other team members.
Ideal Location – Maidenhead, Slough, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Hayes, Watford, Reading, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, St Albans, Harrow, Wembley, Twickenham, Bracknell, Farnborough, Guildford, London, Welwyn Garden City, Luton, Dunstable, Oxford.
Hybrid working model would be considered.
Salary: £65k – £75k + Benefits
The Candidate
Extensive experience in the full lifecycle of in house developed systems including maintenance and testing using Microsoft.net and SQL server databases.
Experience of working within the automotive industry including a knowledge of dealer management systems is advantageous but not essential.
Alternatively, a knowledge of customer experience, customer satisfaction, online questionnaires, CRM or other web-based systems are also a distinct advantage.
Core skills must include SQL, T-SQL, SSRS and SSIS.
You should also have knowledge of ELT and source-code Repository.
Data Warehousing, Star Schema and Snow are highly advantageous, as is MS-SQL DBA optimisation experience.
An understanding of Azure, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Bricks would be useful in this role.
You should have hands on experience of working within an Agile environment.
As this is a senior role within the development team, we seek a candidate with coaching and leadership attributes. The Role
Reporting to the IT Development Director, the Senior SQL Developer will:
Maintain and enhance existing systems, technologies and tools whilst taking advantage of newer technologies to build new functionality.
As a senior team member, you will perform an extensive range of complex tasks and provide advice on the selection of tools, applications and standards.
Bring best practice and be accountable for the design and delivery of large-scale projects.
Work with and advise key business
Support other team members and utilise your experience to lead by example.
