PURPOSE

A Senior Developer is required to join the development team currently engaged in building on the cloud-based enterprise technology EPOS solution aimed at the broader hospitality and retail sectors. You should have strong software engineering skills and be willing to play a central hands-on role working collaboratively across all facets of the solution.

As the Senior Developer, you will work closely with the Lead Developer and Software Development Manager, contributing to the technology strategy, design, and product architecture.
You will be working with the existing team analysing, designing, developing and supporting the core product- both new and existing features – through the full life cycle.

MAIN REPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the technology delivery of the solution, ensuring operational success (uptime, performance, user experience etc.) and delivery of the product features
Maintain and improve the architecture of the full solution including software, hardware & integrations
Work closely with internal/external stakeholders to identify and fully understand the product feature requirements and priorities
Mentor and guide a growing team of developers in producing a high quality, industry leading, robust and secure technology solutions
Provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
Plan and execute deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration
Provide effective time estimates for delivery of projects, tasks or features
Provide technical leadership in all areas of development and lead by example
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

Extensive hands-on full stack development experience
.NET Core (3/5/6+), C# (7/8/9+)
ASP.NET Core Web API, REST services, SignalR
Entity Framework (3/5+)
JavaScript, CSS, Typescript, Angular 9/10/11+
Azure App Services, deployment, diagnostics, and monitoring
Azure SQL databases, deployment, diagnostics, and monitoring
Azure DevOps administration, source control, branching, CI, CD, package creation and deployment
SQL Server 2017+, administration and performance
T-SQL
Cordova
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, SQLite)
Experience with cloud, mobile and hybrid (cloud/on premise) solutions (IOS, Android, Windows, Linux)
Experience in building cross-platform solutions (IOS, Android, Windows, Linux)
Experience developing in domain driven design, SaaS environment
Strong team mentality and experience working closely with other developers
Strong architectural mindset, able to direct a team towards a common vision
Highly organised with an analytical approach and strong attention to detail
GDPR aware
Respectful of and champion of Secure Coding Practices
Knowledge of automated testing such as Selenium
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
