Senior Resource Planner – Mat Cover 12 Months FTC – Circa £35K plus Bonus – Milton Keynes

Senior Resource Planner

Senior Resource Planner needed to join a Global Engagement Solutions brand. As a Senior Resource Planner you will have experience as a resource planner in a technology team and have experience of working with Gantic, TFS Admin and DeskPro to accurately assign and monitor project resource needs and availability.

Responsibilities:

Proactive control over scheduling and resource assignment (TSG/NWS/Creative/Data Insight teams) and on-going monitoring of progress.
Manage incident requests and liaise with the BSA/Development Manager to ensure critical issues are being handled in a prioritized fashion.
Maintain a prioritized backlog of work to be assigned as resources become available.
Liaise with other teams as needed for first line support and issue resolution.
Work with offshore development teams for assignment of resource and timeline management.
Ownership and support DeskPro Service Desk and leaver process.
Liaise with the BSA and Development Manager for proactive control and scheduling of annual and exception-based leave and the impact it has on project development.

Experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Gantic, TFS Admin and DeskPro systems.
Ability to understand and organize project staffing needs to meet schedules.
Practical experience working in virtual teams to deliver projects/programmes for clients (internal or external).
Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with minimal supervision.
Identify, with minimum supervision and ability communicate conflicting priorities to interested parties.
Ability to communicate and build positive relationships at all levels and with all types of people.
Logical and analytical approach.
Has a high standard for quality and attention to detail
