Programme Manager / Infrastructure / Networks / Telecoms / Cloud / Work from Home with Travel / £60-£70k

My client, a leading IT and Telecoms service provider are recruiting based on the onset of a large set of end customer projects within their portfolio. The Programme Manager will be Prince 2 certified and have relevant experience in delivering infrastructure and telecoms projects from hardware upgrades to entire new ICT builds.

Programme Manager / Infrastructure / Networks / Telecoms / Cloud / Work from Home with Travel / £60-£70k

Location – Remote, with travel to customer sites (expenses covered)

Salary – £60,000 – £70,000 per annum

The Programme Manager will have experience in a number of technology disciplines including :

Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows Server 2012 to present, Azure and Exchange Server 2010 to present
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft server and client operating systems including Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, File & Print Sharing, Group Policies, WSUS and DNS/DHCP etc.
Deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack including Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams & SharePoint Online
Experience conducting migrations such as Microsoft Exchange to Office 365
Experience in networking both converged LAN and WAN including firewall, router and switch technologies. Understanding of VLAN's, firewall rule sets
VPN, MPLS and Remote Access technologies
Virtualisation using VMWare ESXi and/or Hyper-V platform
Experience with WIFI technologies such as Ruckus, Cisco or similar
A good understanding of current network topologiesGeneral skill:

Outstanding IT and/or Telecoms programme management experience from a technical background including leadership, planning, coordinating and monitoring of concurrent projects and:
The ability to multi-task (working on multiple projects at a time)
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
To be able to create and administer project documentation to a methodology such as PRINCE2
Have excellent communication skills
