Senior Network Architect

Up to £530/day

Milton Keynes

6 months contract initially

Our client is a well-established company whose professionalism and well-respected name in the rail industry, have been instrumental in their success.

My client is looking for a strong Network Engineer within the telecoms industry or large enterprise environment. We are looking for someone who has experience of large Networks software defined/cloud enabled.

You will need:

Essential

* Substantial experience in Corporate Network engineering or operations within a telecoms service provider or large enterprise environment.

* Substantial experience of the transformation of large national of multi-nation Corporate (Enterprise) networks to a software defined / cloud enabled network

* Architect technical knowledge level of Corporate Network platforms and in particular Software Defined Access (Wi-Fi & LAN) and WAN networks. Should have a strong understanding of network management, automation and network visibility solutions
• Ability to utilise and develop capabilities using scripting tools/languages such as Python

The Role:

* Provides architectural leadership and technical assurance for the specification, design, build and deployment into the production environment of Corporate Network technologies.

* The role will lead as a technical authority on the Corporate Network technologies for the team and develop the technical strategies for the Corporate Network to support the team’s business and service strategies.

* Provides a consultancy service around new technology, service delivery and projects ensuring that the current services and operations are maintained.
