Our client are a leading and innovating business within their sector urgently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

As Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing systems as well as being heavily involved in building new systems.

Senior Full Stack Developer duties but not limited to:

* Collaborate with multiple development teams on microservices built in Ruby/Go and micro-frontends built in React + Redux.

* Drive the use of best practices during design discussions and improve the overall quality of both the code and applications on an ongoing basis.

* Actively participate in defining the technical strategy and target architecture to support our growth and help our systems scale.

* Work closely with product managers, delivery leads and other teams to design, develop, test and maintain robust event-driven services and APIs for maximum reliability, resilience and scalability with security in mind.

* Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.

* Learn new tools, improve your skills and expand your knowledge.

* Produce clear and concise technical documentation.

* Communicate progress, and issues in a timely manner.

Experience, qualification and skills as a Senior Full Stack Developer:

* 3+ years of work experience as a Full Stack Developer.

* Proficiency with Ruby and Go or willingness to learn both.

* Experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka or similar technologies.

* Ability to design and implement large scale event-driven applications.

* Good understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing strategies.

* Good understanding of microservices and their patterns.

* Experience building, running and maintaining Docker images.

* Keen interest in understanding and applying modern development best practices.

* Ability to produce complex yet clear and concise technical documentation.

* Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.

* Hunger for knowledge and desire to learn.

* GraphQL or micro-frontends experience is a plus.

* React, React Native or Node experience is a plus.

* AWS, Kubernetes or IAC experience is a plus
