We urgently require a Senior Backend Developer for an ASAP start. It's an exciting position based in Milton Keynes, with one day on site and the options to work from home 4 days per week.

This is a great opportunity to work on a ground-breaking mobile application and solution platform. The Senior Backend Developer will contribute and help build the next generation ordering, payment and delivery platform. An ideal candidate must be passionate about technology, with a wealth of experience from previous projects and technologies coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role will be specialising in innovative use of mobile and cloud technologies to simplify and speed up customer interaction with clients. The position will focus on reliability/quality, looking at micro service is event driven and built in NodeJS (Typescript).

Essential skills/experience:

5+ years' experience working on backend systems
An expert in; Typescript, Node.JS, Express, MongoDB/DynamoDB & PostgresSQL.
SQL Database proficiency
ReactJS/Angular would also be beneficial.
Strong experience in planning, designing and writing backend Micros Services and API's that support complex work flows delivered through mobile app.
Experience integrating APIs
