Project Office Manager / Resource Manager / Project Delivery / resource allocation / Prince 2 / Kanban / £30-£35k base + Package / hybrid working

My client, is a leading UK based managed services company are looking to recruit a Project Office Manager/Resource Manager to play an instrumental part in the delivery of customer projects and subsequent onboarding of customers. The Project Office Manager / Resource Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling and releasing resources, using Kanban queues to manage workflow and thereby ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects across customers, sites and geographies.

The Role:

Remote with visits to the office when required
Planning, scheduling, and directing of project resource in order to ensure on-time and fully delivered project scope
Using Kanban queues in the project team to provide visibility of the allocation of resource
Prioritisation of the resource schedule in alignment with the programme schedule:
Ensuring all resources required for a project are available and in the right location when needed (onsite or remote)
Prioritising the resource schedule in line with project needs
Contribute to a high-performance team culture within the Projects function, and company more generally, to deliver the right solutions for our customers, leading to growth, retention and reputationThe Ideal Candidate:

Excellent Programme Management knowledge and skill
Formal Project Management qualifications (Prince2, PMI, PMP)
Skilled in the use of Kanban queues
3+ years in managing technical resource allocation
Ability to understand where to allocate people for maximum positive effect and impact
Expert in the use of Project Management, ERP and related applications
Highly commercial – understand the reward / risk trade-offs in business decisions
