React Native Engineer

Full-time, permanent | Milton Keynes | 85-95k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented React Native Engineer to join a large multi-national banking services company.

The React Native Engineer will join a focussed team of exceptionally talented engineers, developers and designers committed to helping deliver value through use of latest technologies and ideas including blockchain, AI, Chatbots, Big Data etc. and developing the team through continued learning and challenging the ways of working to accelerate innovation trough agility, design thinking and hypothesis driven development.

Skills & Experience:

A software engineer who takes pride in their craft and is motivated to learn new tools and technologies.
Mastery of ES6 JavaScript – promises, destructuring, rest and spread
Commercial experience with React Native across the entire product lifecycle, from conception to distribution
Broad knowledge of the internals of React Native in relation to the operation of the bridge and integrating with native modules
Excellent working knowledge of React
Professional experience with TypeScript or Flow
Extensive experience with testing libraries and methodologies including TDD and BDD
Embrace agile software engineering methodologies, pair programming and continuous integration and delivery
Strong experience with development lifecycle tools such as Git and npm
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member
