R&D Physicist / System Engineer

Up to £50K

Working on the bleeding edge of technology, this company are working with the latest research from universities to ensure their products stay ahead. This is an extremely varied role on the ground floor of technology for this business. As part of a small but growing R&D team, you will be working on concepts and ideas from research that no other company in the country will be working on.

The role is diverse, and you will be involved in research and practical applications based out of the head office where all design and manufacturing is done on site. This will give you the chance to see your ideas turn into reality whilst working closely with cross functional teams of engineers. Working with X-Ray technology, the successful engineer will be using this complex machinery and making sense of the data that it produces.

You will have a Physics or scientific background, with some experience interacting with X-rays. You might have PhD / research experience or you could have a BSc/ MSc plus some industry experience.

Requirements:
Strong degree BSc/MSc/PhD in STEM area.
Python or MATLAB experience
Knowledge of X-rays

Desirable:
Novel CT algorithm development (Phase contrast)
Experience with inverse problems
