Job Title: QA Tester
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £35,000

As a QA tester you will be working for a market leader in Identification and Customer Communications services. You will be a vital part of this company's RFID department who specialise is developing identification solutions such as e-ID, traceability and brand protection.

As a QA Tester in the software development team you will be responsible for the code quality being delivered across multiple systems, ensure it is at the highest of standards at all times. You will also be required to work with both on-shore and off-shore teams as you assist the delivery of RFID discovery's testing programme. To do this you will interact and communicate between teams and use your skills as a tester to ensure the framework, infrastructure and test scope are all fit for purpose.

As QA Tester your duties will be (but aren't limited to):

Generating and presenting test plans to validate the requirements and functionality as per the project specifications
Testing of API's and services
Developing test scenarios and generating detailed test procedures to properly and rigorously test the system requirements and functionality
Identifying, analysing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing, ensuring a full defect evidence log is provided for any defects raised to assist in resolution
As youll be working in the software development group you will be expect to utilise your working experience of software development and software testing lifecycles as well as showing a clear competency in product and software testing and quality assurance. A large part of you work will also be based around applications so experience across browser basted applications, mobile applications and cloud-based applications is vital. You will be expected to use your experience with SQL Server and SQL Query writing to perform database testing as well as using tools such as; Postman, SoapUI and other similar tools to perform API testing.
