Our renowned client is currently looking to recruit 2x Project Manager (Data) on a 12 month fixed term contract, offering an excellent package and potential for hybrid working.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Project Management environment and with Data and/or Data Protection focus. The client has 2 separate projects, 1 Data focused and the 2nd working on the Data Protection element of a core system replacement project and will recruit for 2 Project Managers to run them individually. You will be managing the projects and activities that deliver the aims of Data Protection, propose and implement improvements to processes and support internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and coordinate projects or activities, engaging with stakeholders as appropriate.

* Liaise and negotiate key stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

* Prepare project plans, RACI matrices and RAID logs

* Prepare highlight reports on projects or activities and budgets.

* Negotiate and liaise with key stakeholders appropriately to deliver the business or project outcomes to agreed performance and quality standards, deadlines and budgets.

* Make sure stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy is always kept up-to-date

* As the Unit has a Cloud-based transformation programme underway, that will have an effect on the application stack and the way stakeholders interact with data, there is a need for Change Management activities to be undertaken that will involve stakeholder engagement, training & implementing change.

* Contribute to the delivery of the new system implementation, drawing upon prior experience.

The ideal candidate will have worked within a large environment and have Data Protection experience.
