Project Manager

Location: Remote/ Milton Keynes

Rate: up to £90per hour (depending on experience)

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for consultants with skills in IT project management.

The roles are managing internal IT and Digital Change projects for our client within the rail industry.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management lifecycle using it to ensure your projects meet the needs of your clients and the needs of our client

In your role you will be responsible for the delivery of our contracted work to time, cost and quality.

Being able to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, and possessing the skills needed to consult with your clients, is essential to this role.

As a contractor, you will uphold the highest standards of integrity and show a commitment to our Equality, Diversity and inclusion agenda.

Requirements:

Applicants will need to be qualified in an accredited Project Management E.g. Prince 2, PMP or APM.

A working knowledge and demonstrable experience in the following areas is requested:

* Project Management. The ability to manage all aspects of project delivery including forecasting, planning, risk and change management and financial reporting.

* An enthusiasm for, and demonstrable qualifications that show commitment to, the project management profession.

* The ability to engage with people at all levels of both our client and our clients’ organisations.

* The management and leadership of your project team will see you demonstrating the soft skills associated with getting the best out of people.

* An ability to communicate in written and verbal form with people at every level of their respective company's/organisations.

Rail domain experience would be a bonus but is not essential
