Project Manager – Milton Keynes/hybrid – £55,000 – £60,000 , £7000 Car allowance and excellent benefits

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global business in Milton Keynes. As part of the projects team, you will take ownership for delivering multi-site telecommunications installation projects. These are managed networks provided for large corporate customers, and could be any connectivity: satellite, terrestrial, 4G.

You will manage the initial planning and implementation of a project, and then ensure that customer and business requirements continue to be met on an ongoing basis.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Planning of projects, using accepted methodology
Maintenance and proactive management of project issue log and project plan
Manage the relationship with the customer and supplier to facilitate delivery of project
Prepare, manage and control project-related documentation
Preparation of customer project reports
Report and review contractor performance against service level agreements
Review and reporting of project costs against work breakdown structure.

Skills and experience

Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritising and focused on meeting deadlines.
IT literate – and comfortable using various business support and operations systems.
Problem-solver who takes ownership and will chase down problems to resolution.
Open and resilient attitude – a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and capable of analysis.
Proven track record of delivery of corporate customer network solutions (multi-site) projects, with full life-cycle experience is desirable
Background in terrestrial or satellite communication, telecommunications or network or system integration projects is desirable.
Project Management qualification (such as Prince2, PMI or APM) Is desirable
